Hall sensor can measure any waveform of current and voltage, such as DC, AC, pulse, and even transient peak.The secondary current truly reflects the primary current waveform.However, ordinary transformers cannot. The ordinary one can only provide measurements of 50Hz sine waves.
The primary circuit is completely insulated from the secondary circuit.Insulation voltage is generally 2KV – 12KV, special requirements can reach 20KV ~ 50KV.
High precision: the accuracy is better than 1% at the working temperature, can measure any waveform, but the general accuracy of ordinary transformers is 3% ~ 5%, only suitable for 50Hz sine wave.
